Outdoor Learning

Children at Bare Trees Primary School are given lots of opportunities to explore and learn in the outdoor environment. Learning outside the classroom supports and promotes a healthy and active life style.  Reception children enjoy working together to solve problems and develop a love and respect for the Natural World during outdoor learning. The children develop confidence to try new experiences and develop their creativity.

The Bare Trees girl groups have been created this afternoon. The girls used the stage area outside to sing Nursery Rhymes and play musical instruments.

We had so much fun. We explored the field. There were so many leaves that the children couldn't help but throw the leaves up in the air and the hill looked too tempting not to roll down. We can't wait for next week.

This week in Reception we have been exploring the field and enjoying the Autumn Leaves.
Running to reach the end of the rainbow. "Is there treasure at the end of the rainbow Miss?"

Mud Painting

On a windy Wednesday afternoon the children in Ash Tree enjoyed using mud to paint what we see around us. Some children painted trees and others painted the grass Although some children got themselves into a pickle, they couldn't keep hold of their paper for very long because of the wind.
