Autumn 1 Reception

This half term in Reception we have been learning all about how to be a good friend. We have had discussions on who the members of our family are, if they are older or younger than us and how many family members we have. 

The children have brought in family photos and baby pictures into school. We have looked at how much we have changed and talked about what we can do now compared to when we were younger. 

In Maths, we have been focussing on number and pattern. The children have really enjoyed making patterns using lots of different resources. 

In Talk For Writing, we are learning the story 3 Billy Goats Gruff. The children have made so much progress with their story telling skills, through adapting their own story maps and creating their own characters.
