During the first half of the Summer term the children in Year 1 had the pleasure of looking after some baby caterpillars. We have learnt all about the life cycle of a butterfly. We kept our caterpillar for a fews weeks, they made cocoons and turned into beautiful butterflies. Once they had arrived we had the pleasure of going outside and setting them free. The children were very engaged and really helped in looking after our class caterpillars.
