Fred talk the word and blend the sounds to say the word.

Then move onto the activity

 

Activity:

Pick a picture

 

How to do it:

Look carefully at the word on the screen. Fred talk it and click on the correct picture when you know what the word is. Click phase 2

 

If your child finds that tricky:

You say fred talk the word and let them blend the sounds together. If they cannot blend independently then keep saying the sounds getting quicker and quicker each time.
