Welcome To

Bare Trees Primary School

Task One

Literacy

30 Minutes

What to do:

Listen to the story The Tiny Seed.

Activity:

Listen to the story. Imagine you had a seed and it began to grow.

Draw a picture of what it would look like and label your picture.

How to do it:

Watch the video below. Use your blue home learning book to draw your flower and label it. Use Fred fingers to sound out and write the words

The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle

If your child finds that tricky:

Ask your child to draw their flower and write the initial sounds for the labels, you could help your child to finish the word.

Challenge:

Write a sentence to describe your flower.  Remember to use capital letters, finger spaces and a full stop.  Can you use and in your sentence?
