Literacy

Activity: Today we are starting to learn about the Farm. This week we would have been going to Smithills Farm. 

Please look at our Knowledge Organiser. There are lots of new words on there for you to learn. 

How to do it: Have a look at the Knowledge Organiser with someone in your family. Talk about the new words, do you know any of these words? 

If you find it tricky: Just look at the first part and focus on learning the animal names. 

Challenge: Expand on your discussion and begin to describe some of the animals. You might need these ideas for tomorrow’s activity. 

Also if you get time this week have a look at Smithills Farm website it has lots of information about the animals we are going to be learning about.
