Bare Trees Primary School

Spring 2

This week Year 6 made their own stir fry dish as part of Design Technology. We definitely enjoyed it! Some of us enjoyed it so much we went back for more!

On Friday 22nd March, Year 6 helped the City of Trees project and planted a future inner city forest at school! We can't wait to see it grow!

In preparation for writing an explanation text in English, Year 6 designed their own 'Teacher-Pleaser' Machine! They definitely know their teachers well!

This week we had a visitor come and speak to us from Christian Aid to tell us all about the charity and the work they do.

This week in Year 6 we started our new science topic all about the circulatory system. We did some learning outside the classroom and took our learning to the hall to act out how the blood is oxygenated and deoxygenated in the body.

Here we are pretending to be the lungs, heart, muscles and blood cells.
