On 28th February 2024, we celebrated International Mother Language's Day. We learnt about the different mother languages spoken in our classes and taught each other some phrases. We also learnt about the Kurdish language, linking to our class reader 'The Boy at the Back of the Classroom' by Onjali Q Raúf. We can now greet each other in Kurdish - why don't you ask us if you see us on the corridor! A big thank you to all our families who got involved and came into school to share their mother language with us!
