Literacy

Activity: Today in our farm fact file we are going to write how milk gets from the farm to the shops.

How to do it: Think about the video you watched yesterday from task 4. Can you remember how the milk gets from the farm to the shops? Have a look at photographs provided to remind yourself. In your blue book or on a clean piece of paper draw pictures to show how the milk gets from the farm to the shops. Use your pictures to explain to your grown up what happens. Remember to use the words first, next, after that and finally in your explanation.

Label your pictures.

If you find it tricky: Think about the video you watched yesterday from task 4. Use the photographs provided to explain how the milk gets from the farm to the shops step by step. In your child's blue book or on a clean piece of paper write the word first, ask your child to draw a picture that shows what happens first. Repeat this again using the words next, after that and finally.

Challenge: Draw pictures to show how milk gets from the farm to the shop on your fact file.. Write a sentence to go with your pictures.
