Pastoral care is defined as the commitment to, and active demonstration of concern for, the growth and wellbeing of each pupil, and every member of the school community.
At Bare Trees Primary School, we are committed to providing a pastoral care programme to ensure your child is safe, happy, involved and able to perform to their full potential.
At school, the Pastoral Team has several members such as: Mrs. Costello (Pastoral Lead), Mrs. Johnson (Senior Pastoral Officer) and Mrs Carter (Pastoral Officer) all of whom have the special responsibility to ensure your child feels safe and well at school.
There are also other members of staff, such as Miss. Carling (Emotional Health and Mental Wellbeing Lead) Mrs Johnson; Mrs Carter; Mr Wild; Miss Williams; Miss Ashfaq; Mrs Mayo; Mrs Dennis, who are trained Mental Health First Aiders and are there to support members of the Bare Trees community - both big and small.
